Good experience overall

I booked the Day Pass and the Sloth Encounter online. The website was pretty easy to navigate for booking. I received my confirmation email right away. When I got there, redemption at the ticketing counter with my Emirates ID for the resident discount was smooth. The bio-dome itself was well-maintained and the sloth encounter was definitely a highlight; the staff were knowledgeable. It took about 2 hours to go through everything at a relaxed pace. The cafe was a bit pricey for snacks, but the coffee was decent. Overall, a good experience for a family outing.

Fun day out

We went with the kids for a Day Pass last week and it was pretty cool. The place is indoors so it was a nice escape from the heat. The kids loved seeing all the birds and monkeys roaming around. It wasn't too crowded when we went, which was nice. We spent a few hours there just looking at everything. Easy to get to and parking wasn't an issue. Would go again sometime.

Reliably good visit

This was my third time visiting The Green Planet, and it's consistently a solid experience. I got the Day Pass again, and entry was just as quick as my previous visits. The temperature inside is always comfortable, which is a big plus. My first time, I did a Zookeeper for a Day and that was unique, but a regular visit is still enjoyable. They keep the place clean and the animals seem well cared for. It's a reliable choice for something different to do in Dubai.

Day Pass was fine

Booked a Day Pass online. Entry was quick. The rainforest was interesting. Saw lots of plants. Good for an hour or so. No complaints.

Anyone know if they do any BOGO deals for the day pass? Saw some mention of it online but not sure if it's still active or through specific apps.

A Alex T. 2 weeks ago
Afaik, The Entertainer app usually has buy 1 get 1 free for Green Planet. Worth checking there before you buy direct.

I think I saw a BOGO deal recently, might have been through a bank promo though, or yes, The Entertainer is a good shout. They don't always advertise those on their main site.

How long does it typically take to go through the whole Green Planet experience? Wondering if I should plan for a full morning or just a couple of hours.

S Sofia Garcia 1 month ago
I'd say a good 2-3 hours to see everything comfortably, especially if you stop for the animal feedings or just chill watching the sloths.

You can zip through in about an hour and a half if you're quick, but if you want to soak it in and really watch the animals, give it at least two hours, maybe more if it's busy.

Hey guys, thinking of going to the Green Planet next month. I have an Emirates ID, does that get me any kind of discount or is that just for locals?

N Nathan P. 3 weeks ago
Yeah, totally! I used mine last year and got a decent chunk off the tickets. Just show it at the counter when you get there.

You definitely get a discount with an Emirates ID. I think it's usually around 20-30% off, which is pretty good. It's for residents, not just 'locals' per se.

Are there any specific credit card offers or bank promotions for tickets? I remember seeing some for other attractions but can't find anything for Green Planet.

J James Nelson 1 week ago
Sometimes banks run promos, especially around holidays. Check your bank's app or website, they often have a 'deals' section. I got a discount with my ADCB card once.

I think I saw a Mashreq offer a while back. It changes all the time though, so your best bet is to actually check your specific bank's offers page for current promotions. They don't always advertise them on the Green Planet site directly.

Trying to decide between Green Planet and the Dubai Aquarium. Which one is better for seeing a variety of animals and less just fish?

M Michelle Brown 4 weeks ago
Green Planet is all about the rainforest, so you get birds, monkeys, sloths, and reptiles. Aquarium is mostly fish and other sea creatures. Depends what you wanna see more of.

If you want variety beyond just marine life, Green Planet for sure. Aquarium is cool, but it's pretty much just underwater stuff. Green Planet feels more like an actual ecosystem.
